Sports Account Executive

Connex Sports is a leading provider of client impact programs. Our primary medium is major sporting events. We provide custom Sports Hospitality programs to everything from the Super Bowl to the Olympic games. Our goal is simple: to significantly improve our client's relationship with their most important asset - their largest clients.

We are looking for three dynamic and highly motivated sales people to sell our Masters and Final Four programs. The successful candidates will initially prospect, qualify and sell our six figure services to leading companies across North America. The very best candidates will be fast tracked into a sales management role within six to twelve months.

Successful candidates will go though an intense eight-week training period. In this on-boarding period you will be fully trained on our services, specific sales methodology and unique corporate culture. You will be responsible for building a client base as well as cultivating and maintaining long term relationships with these executives and their companies.

The specific characteristics that will help ensure a candidates ultimate success include having and entrepreneurial spirit with a CEO's determination and ambition to grow their business and advance their career. They will be very competitive, have strong leadership skills while retaining the ability work independently where necessary. You will need the confidence and self-belief to deal at this level; with the tenacity and determination to keep working hard to get through the inevitable no's to achieve success. This role is ideal for those naturally driven people who want to work in a positive and motivated atmosphere alongside other successful executives.

Compensation is comprised of a competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, generous annual bonus and comprehensive health and benefit plan for individuals and/or families. OTE for your first complete year with Connex will be between $75,000-$115,000+.

Requirements

• Highly self reflective, values meritocracy and is transparent.
• Has strong logic, common sense and understands how people think.
• An entrepreneurial "go getter" mindset that is highly goal orientated with a strong sense of urgency.
• Is highly assertive and comfortable talking to executives at a very senior level.
• Ability to excel at managing multiple tasks at one time, work to strict deadlines and perform in a high energy fast paced environment.
• The ability to strategically identify target audience and stay focused in placing over one hundred outbound calls a day to achieve sales goals.
• Organized and analytical approach to research ideally with experience in self-generating sales leads.

Preferred Candidates would also meet the following criteria:

• College Degree.
• One or more years of sales experience preferred, although talented recent college graduates will also be considered.
• Has experience selling business to business at the C-level.
